Knut Joar Strømmen holds a BSc. in Robotics and Nanotechnology and an MSc. in Robotics and Intelligent Systems from the University of Oslo, specializing in data science and machine learning. His master’s thesis focused on using autoencoders for biosignal data to improve the detection of depressive symptoms. He has four years of experience in the industry, where he developed machine learning models for network optimization. Now a PhD Fellow, Knut’s research focuses on AI, machine learning, and personalized healthcare, particularly in diabetes.
