Curriculum Vitae
Maria Panagiotou holds a 5-year joint BSc & MSc studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), with a major in Informatics. In her diploma thesis she examined a comparative study of autoencoder architectures for mental health analysis using wearable sensors data. She is currently a PhD candidate, focusing on diabetes treatment optimization at ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research which belongs to the University of Bern. She has a keen interest in the field of Machine learning in biomedicine, especially in Diabetes.
