Ethan Dack comes from a mathematical background holding a BSc with honors in Mathematics from the University of York. Succeeding this he completed his PGCE in Secondary mathematics at the Institute of education, UCL. After a career change he smoothly transitioned to working in the IT industry, he has experience in software application support and engineering in the form of: building web applications, designing/developing APIs and database schemas. Whilst working as a software engineer he completed his masters degree in Data science from the Birkbeck College, University of London. His thesis involved developing a deep learning framework to accurately predict mortgage product selection in the UK finance industry, a first attempt of any such research in the UK. His current work involves applying computer vision and machine learning techniques to datasets of medical images and their respective clinical data.
