PhD thesis defense Sergio Tascon-Morales

Congratulations to Sergio Tascon-Morales, who successfully defended his PhD thesis “Spatial Awareness and Logic for Robust Visual Question Answering” on 15 May 2024! As part of the AI in Medical Imaging lab, Sergio researched ways to make deep learning models for medical image analysis less opaque and their reponse to visual questioning more consistent and traceable.
