Abstract

In academia, the heavy workload, competitive work environment and pressure to succeed can easily take a toll on your mental health. In a place where devoting all of your time and energy to your career seems to be the norm, it’s hard to share your struggles and make space for your mental health. In this talk, Anna discusses her mental health journey and the obstacles she faced in her academic career. By sharing her story, she aims to contribute to breaking the stigma on mental health and show the audience that they are not alone.
