Amith Kamath wins in IEEE student paper competition

At the 45th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society in Sydney, Australia, Amith Kamath from the Medical Image Analysis lab has won the second place of the student paper competition. The PhD student presented his research “ASTRA: Atomic Surface Transformations for Radiotherapy Quality Assurance” on 25 July 2023. His project is kindly supported by the Swiss Cancer Research Foundation.

The Graduate School for Cellular and Biomedical Sciences of the University of Bern was furthermore represented at the event by Noelle Harte, Hearing Research Lab, ARTORG Center and Nishant Gupta, School of Engineering and Computer Science BFH.
